Heartslabyul's song 🔸: I didn't think that we would ever be singing. It's been 5 years. When I heard it I thought, "Finally, the day that Cater will sing has come!" I always thought it would be neat if he could sing one day, as he is a member of the pop music club.

Scarabia's song 🐍： I thought it was a really cool song when I first got it, that rhythm. I recorded first. When 🦦 recorded he messaged me and said "I listened to your part and recorded to match you. It is really cool."

Second Topic: 5th Anniversary Reflection Talk

Memories from Twst 🐍：Book 4 overblot's recording. Was very nervous, it left such a big impression on me.

🔸：In the very beginning we all recorded together. The feeling of "Twst is really beginning here," the senpai VA, how I was going to portray Cater Diamond--I was so nervous. That very starting moment left a big impression on me.

👑：Vil-sama had a lot of dialogue in Book 5. There was a lot of going deep into the character. Memories of recording the songs together…

🏹：Vil-sama had a lot of dialogue in Book 6, too. 👑：I had a feeling that there was a lot of time spent particularly on Vil-sama's recordings. I do not know how it was for everyone else, but…when there was something I came up with on my own there was always additional direction. I came to know Vil-sama very well.

🐍：I am actually a pop-nii-san. So I got to be a little like that in the dream. I really enjoyed it.

🔸：The thing that surprised me the most was the great things that Cater said when waking Ace up. "Cater Diamond, this is the man that you are!" I started to cry. I recorded together with ❤️ and almost cried there, too.

🏹：When debating who to wake up first, Ace or Trey, Cater recommends Ace first because Deuce was lonely. It would obviously have been better to wake Trey up first but Cater was like a big brother and offered to wake Ace up first for Deuce, instead.

It's an innocent ("please," Jason sneers, "there's nothing innocent about a plagiaristic propaganda machine encouraging minors to dance for sick ol' pervs while it spews misogynistic hate speech.'"

"the fuck did you just call me, replacement?") TikTok, one of those ones that kind of simmers in the background for a few weeks until someone with a decent enough following posts it on the Platform Formerly Known as Twitter and from there it seriously catches traction, blowing up until Tim knocks on Bruce's office door, phone in hand. Damian stands behind him, arms crossed and clearly simmering.

Bruce, fresh off a series of zoom conferences, raises an eyebrow.

"Okay, so you haven't seen it," Tim decides, striding forward.

Bruce's eyebrow jumps a smidge higher, on the edge of concern, as Tim thrusts his phone into his grasp.

"So," he begins, reaching over to refresh the mobile page "there's a video that's been making the rounds on Twitter and—well you should probably see it," He sighs over Damian's scoff as he clicks through the pop-up asking him to sign in or join TikTok, and presses "Watch Again", unmuting the video.

🎶 "Doo, badoo-badoo-badoo Badoo-badoo-badoo-badoo,"🎶 an upbeat background song hums as someone, presumably a student, films a school hallway with their phone. They walk past students talking near their lockers, some of whom flash peace signs and silly grins as the camera swings their way before continuing on.

But the main point Bruce gets stuck on is the all lowercase white text at the center of the screen that an automated woman's voice awkwardly narrates:

"when you go to school with bruce wayne's other long lost lovechild"

The student filming comes up behind a much taller student who faces away from him, in conversation with a black haired pale teenaged girl. She spots the cameraman and shoots him a confused, disgruntled look, saying something to the boy who then turns around.

Bruce quietly observes as the camera zooms in on a boy around Tim's page, possibly older. Tall and broad-shouldered, with a strong jaw, he raises an eyebrow at the one filming, looking beyond the camera, pitch black hair with blue undertones falling into his blue eyes. The camera momentarily zooms too far into those eyes then abruptly pulls back as he quirks a puzzled smile at the viewer, mouthing out an easily understandable "hi?".

The TikTok ends and seamlessly transitions to a person balancing their cat on an exercise ball with minimal success and this time Bruce presses the Watch Again button. The heart on the right side claims 750k likes.

Damian scoffs, louder, as it ends. "Clearly it is a hoax, but it has been popular among my classmates."

"The board hasn't made much noise about it—" Tim starts.

"And they won't," Bruce says, lifting his eyes from his phone. "Wayne Industries doesn't give statements on videos like these, no matter how viral they become. I've been getting lovechild claims since before I adopted Dick."

Which Tim knows, which is why his insistence on showing Bruce this one raises his hackles. He pins Tim down with a stare and despite Tim's perfected PR mask, he can see Tim is unsettled.

"B...he really, really looks like you." Tim admits. Damian scoffs for a third time and Tim shoots him a glare, "I get it, you don't see it, but you haven't seen the pictures of Bruce when he was younger."

"I don't need to!" Damian says angrily. "You're all being ridiculous!"

"All?" Bruce asks. Tim shifts awkwardly. "The family group chat has been talking," he says.

"I see," Bruce says. Because he does. Many claim Damian to be his doppelganger, but the boy actually favors Talia not just in skin tone but in the shape and color of his eyes, as well as the soft slope of her mouth and ears. Whether those features will sharpen once he goes through puberty is anyone's guess.

But this young man has Bruce's eyes. Martha's eyes.

That night they have a suspiciously full house for dinner, with even Jason dropping in, but no one says anything until Barbara wheels in for dessert, carrying a manila folder on her lap.

"What?" she says, when everyone stares. "Dick told me it was crème brûlée today!"

Bruce extends a hand wordlessly, and Barbara sheepishly hands the folder over.

"Bruce," she says, before he can open it, "I wouldn't have looked into this normally, but,"

"Just say it," Jason says, leaning back in his chair. "Take away the gray hairs, the receding hairline, and the wrinkles and the kid's a dead match."

"Take it back, Todd," Damian growls, "Father has a very full head of hair!"

"Not to mention a failed track record at keeping it in his pants, Exhibit A," Jason continues, pointing a fork at Damian, "oh wait," he says gleefully, "kid is definitely 18, so I guess that would make you Exhibit B!"

The table erupts, cutlery tinkling as Damian gets a knee up on the table to hurl himself at a cackling Todd, Dick jumping up to grab him as the others lean out of the way—

"Ahem!" Everyone stops cold as Alfred stands in the doorway, porcelain ramekins of crème brûlée stacked perfectly on a silver tray. Under his gaze, everyone sits back down, Damian and Jason both quietly uttering a "Sorry Alfie/Alfred," as they straighten up.

Bruce is oblivious to the chaos, Barbara biting her lip beside him as he stares blankly inside the folder at the printed copy of an adoption certificate.

Two days and several million likes later, another TikTok goes viral from the same user. Caught in the moment as whoever is filming runs up to the group, the same young man is chatting with a blonde in a red letterman jacket, a partially formed crowd around them. Even with one leg still in the cafeteria table, he towers over everyone.

"—sh. Look, we're all possibly Bruce Wayne's son!" the boy snarks. He has his hands out, palms up as if he's making a great point, and as he looks around he catches sight of the cameraman and his smirk drops.

"Ah Mac, c'mon dude not again—" and the TikTok ends.

She stops. You stop. You both laugh. You’re holding onto her sleeve now, face buried in your own shoulder to keep it together.

When he invited you over for a cup of tea, the last thing you expected was getting dragged into his daily stream. 

“And today, we have a special, special, guest!” He exclaimed, drumming the table dramatically, before leaning in and reading the captions. “Chat, Chris is not special. He literally lives here, I can drag him in whenever.” 

You snorted, making George look in your direction and smile. Motioning for you to come in, you popped your head into the corner of the frame and waved enthusiastically. “Hey guys! Chris is safe today, I’m the one who got dragged today.” 

Most of your subscribers and followers know your feelings about Twitch: you respected the grind and the hustle, but you were not a fan. 

A tip came in, with the message: finally! 

Another one came in, she also joins u all the time tho

“She does, she does, I know,” George threw his arm around the chair you’re sitting in, “but what can I say? We just can’t get enough of her.” He pinched your cheek, making you roll your eyes and push his arm away.

George can u do smth else real quick we wanna talk to just her 

He scoffed, flabbergasted. “So, this is my stream, and you’re telling me to leave!” He turned to face you, “you’re stealing my spotlight! Leave now!” 

“Happy to!” Immediately, you stood up–teasing him and pretending to leave. His hand instinctively went to your arm, dragging you down back into your seat. “No, stay, stay, I’m kidding!” 

“I thought you wanted me to leave?” You retorted, arching your eyebrow. “Hey, maybe this is a sign I should start streaming…” Dozens of comments came in, supporting the idea. “I’ll stream at the same time as you as well, take away all your views…” You trailed off, teasingly. 

George dramatically put his hand on his heart, before you returned your attention to the chat. “Can you two watch this video, please?” George read out, navigating his mouse to the link. 

While George continued to entertain the chat, telling them about his day; you leaned in, curious—until the title loaded.

Your stomach dipped.

The caption read: “they’re fr dating but just not telling us,” followed with a series of hashtags including your names. 

It was a TikTok edit. Of course it was.

And then the music started. And you had to stop yourself from internally face-palming. 

Of course, it was Taylor Swift. No edit of anyone with Taylor Swift music could ever be just platonic. Ever. 

There were flashes from your own vlogs–your park walks, late-night food runs, gym sessions, dinner at yours. Snippets from friend’s videos; the two of you chatting to yourselves in a crowd of people, the video cropped to highlight the two of you giggling. It would cut to the game night he hosted, you sitting between his legs and him staring at you a little too long with a look you swore your roommate gave her boyfriend a million times. You, watching him, that same night and smiling. It ended on Arthur TV's stream, someone asking him where George was, only for him to respond that he was with you, "as always".

It played like a montage of a couple who just hadn’t admitted it yet, or a recap of a couple to be played at their wedding. A highlight reel of moments you didn’t realise anyone noticed. 

Your heart kicked in your chest.

“Wait, oh my gosh, what the fuck did you do?” you blurted, reaching for the mouse, clicking away on another video before George could properly see it. You forced a laugh, pulling your best “shocked by George being a dumbass” expression. The stream would see this as you getting distracted by a stupid video of George, a friend wanting to make fun of the other. 

Distraction was always the easiest weapon.

He looked up at the new clip. It was the football shoot—the one where he tripped and sprained his ankle.

“You knew about it!” he said, eyes lighting up. “That day was terrible.” He looked at you with a new look in his eyes, and you immediately had to turn away. You couldn’t give the fans any more ammunition. 

But still, you swallowed hard. He didn’t say it out loud, but you remembered it well. You got the call from Chris that George was being a baby, so you showed up to see George at home pouting like a kid who had all their candy stolen from them. You remember bandaging him up. How he insisted you stayed over. How you two watched a movie while you helped him iced his leg, with his head on your shoulder. The weight of him was so comfortable that it hurt a little.

He turned back to chat. “Why did you guys send us this? We literally lived it.”

You changed the topic before the stream could correct him. After all, they hadn’t sent that TikTok. You clicked on it, away from what they did send. 

You didn’t want him to see that TikTok. To overthink everything between you. 

And he hadn’t seen it. But you had. And you couldn't unsee it.

It suddenly felt like a spotlight was on you, burning you up; making you sweat. Your hands felt clammy, your cheeks felt flushed, and your heart felt like it was beating miles per minute. 

You tried to follow George’s voice as he kept talking to chat, but everything sounded far away. Muffled.

You were still seeing the edit. Still hearing the music.

“I once believed love would be burning red…”

Your throat tightened.

You’d been in denial because it was safer, funnier, easier. But sitting next to him now, while your heart raced and the chat erupted in chaos.

It wasn’t a joke anymore. 

You missed him when you didn’t see him. The day felt empty when you didn’t text him or see him at least once. Your mood depended on whether he laughed at something you said. You knew how exactly he likes his tea, his Twitch schedule, and the weird look of concentration he had when he was stuck editing. 

You realised your whole world was built around him without intending to.

And it’s crazy. First, he was that weird guy you met at a Sidemen video, doing impressions on stage. And now he was your lifeline. 

After seeing it played back to you, it finally hit you—

You liked George. 

And not just a little.

You liked him in a way that made your chest ache.

In a way you couldn’t laugh off.

In a way that scared you shitless.

And you don’t want to think about going home and rambling to your roommate about this realisation, who’d only say four words back to you: “I fucking called it.”

Two Ghosts music video - plot & analysis

the video's plot seems to be so eerie.. and the beautiful HQ screenshots I have seen posted sadly seem to not have been in the order of the music video, so with the help of videos of Harry's giant live screen circle from his tour in 2018, where a lot of parts of the Two Ghosts music video were playing, and also the leaked video part from a few days ago, i've decided to make a little plot & analysis post.

(and if someone wants to add on more analysis, please feel free to do so!)

so, in the live version it begins with an overview of this magical looking place. there's mountains, clouds, foggy valleys, trees. in the forefront, some type of red flowers are sprouting and blossoming, a yellow/orange orange butterfly wafts through the picture and a few tiny blue squared shapes/boxes float around (perhaps in some kind of formation). the land seems to be divided into a green-ish and blue-ish part; in the forefront is the rich, living, sunny grasslands with roots and lots of living things and then in the background you see the vast, barren, cold/snowy mountains in the shadowed distance. (it could also be seen as a divide between summertime and wintertime) :

however, the posted screenshots of the music video begin with the following stills, which never showed up on the live screen during Harry's 2018 tour. [that makes sense, though, because not just would there suddenly be 2 different Harrys on that screen, but artistically you'd want the videography design of the live back screen more atmospheric and supporting/complementing/underlining the mood and message of the song. (i've worked on a couple of these with bands before; but on a smaller scale). from my experience, just slapping the music video in there would honestly be seen as quite lazy and unimaginative.] i don't think we know which shot is the real beginning of the music video; but I tend to learn towards the landscape overview shot, just cinematography-wise.

so, now enter lovely Harry - he's wandering around the sunny, summertime landscapes, dressed in just a long, billowing white shirt/night gown. his legs are naked and he's barefoot. he's wearing his cross necklace and another longer silvery chain. there's no rings on his hands. he's just by himself as he sings and walks. the colour palette is a starkly blue and green. it looks to be bright where he is, perhaps midday. the fact that he's wearing something that can be considered sleepwear could mean his real body is asleep and he's dreaming everything that will be happening now:

Harry sits down. we don't know why; maybe to watch the mountains in the distance or to rest. a the tiny blue square shape seemingly floats up to him, or perhaps it's popped up from somewhere. Harry looks at it, while the sun is slowly setting in the background:

in the next posted shots, Harry's walking again. perhaps he's following the blue square shape that is leading him somewhere? the colours have changed to something akin to golden hour/sunset:

- in the live screen version during Harry's 2018 tour, we instead only see close-ups of the landscapes and they slowly loop themselves twice (from 0:34 until 2:03). there we see lightly tinted sunset-skies, the powerful, snowy, barren mountains cast in shadows in the distance, but also a glimpse of a butterfly fluttering along in the forefront in the bottom left corner (cut off in the screen, because of the format) and then a close-up of the summertime and butterflies (🎶); the butterflies are are pink and orange...

...in the middle there's an intermission of a close-up of a huge blue square shape at 1:05:

- then suddenly - enter the triangle/pyramid shape. we have not met that one before, not even in the overview shot at the beginning. (2:02):

..and as the shot zooms out, we realize the triangle/pyramid shape and the square shapes are floating next to each other and they're both super big and prominent now:

we're met with a close-up of that giant version of the blue square shape - it's layered and seems multi-faceted; boxes within boxes and they're all see-through and connected..

...and as the camera zooms down, we realize Harry is reaching up to the (his?) blue square shape (which is still floating next to the giant blue triangle). this scene is also included in the live screen version from his tour:

suddenly, something happens! we can't really tell unfortunately, because the source of the dark blue/violet petals(?) is unseen in all of the shots. my guess is that either one of the shapes dissolves (maybe it's on purpose that we don't know which one) or that that "storm" or swarm of petals (to me, it moves like a swarm of bees or petals blowing in a gust of wind) shoots out from somewhere in front of him, because he looked to be standing in front of some kind of cliff or slope. the vibe becomes chaotic:

Harry looks deeply irritated by the petals; like he didn't expect this to happen at all. he seems to be still looking towards the sky:

then, in the music video and also in the live screen version from his 2018 tour, the (now leaked) part of the music video starts:

a rainbow river starts flooding every nook and cranny of the land:

these next scenes with him in the shots are not in the live screen version. night has now fallen - or perhaps the petal storm and possible-dissolving of the shape(s) are connected to the creation of the rainbow river in the dark. Harry's not moving; he's looking around himself and taking in what's happening while everything around him floods with rainbow-coloured thicker-than-water liquid. he distinctly keeps his hands out of the rainbow, not touching it:

Harry's standing there like he's been rooted to the ground while the river is rising around his legs and seems to already be up to his knees. he looks like he's trying to keep his balance. his hands are still not touching the rainbow:

in the next shot, we see him lift something in his hand to inspect it; it looks to be some type of moss or leaves. it looks organic..

..and while he looks at it, it turns into rainbow liquid in his hand:

that scene is included in the live screen version again:

the next parts are again not in the live screen version. we then see Harry in a total shot, standing in the middle of the/his rainbow river and he slowly and deliberately lifts his head to look directly into the camera for the first time again since the beginning of the video. he looks very serious; he's almost staring now; challenging maybe. i feel this total shot is inviting the viewer to not just see the shot as a whole, but him as a whole; to see him wholly for who he is: someone knee deep in rainbows. one could also argue that he's in a quite vulnerable state - half-naked in just a night gown, but we know Harry has openly never connected him being naked with shame or fear - quite the opposite - so it could also mean something positive; could symbolize being at home in his body - or pride:

we don't know what swept him off his feet, but in the next shot, Harry is floating down rainbow river. first he lifts his head and looks a bit around, as if to ask 'What's happening?'..

It’s a dark Fall night. The house smelling of popcorn you had popped earlier to watch during a movie. Halloween decorations had been plastered all over Steve’s home, a home that hadn’t been decorated for any holiday in a very long time. You had changed that though, changed him. You made not only this home full, but his heart. Which is why Steve lies beside you in his bed absolutely hating himself for not being able to tell you how he feels. How much he loves you, how much you had saved him these last six months.

You had been there for it all. Cheering in the stands when he graduated, taking your lunch break to visit him everyday at Scoops Ahoy, not getting jelous of his newfound friendship with Robin, taking care of him when the monsters returned and the mall burned down, and even helping him and Robin get hired at the video store where you had worked this entire time. Everytime he thought you'd leave, somehow you were still there, and he appreciated you for every bit of it. So why the hell couldn't he say it?

He knew why. He knew because everytime he looked at the plastic Halloween decorations filling his home he was brought right back to Tina's Halloween party. Right back to that very bathroom where the only girl he ever loved looked into his eyes and told him he was bullshit. It had been a year but he still remembered how devastated he was, how his heart felt as she ripped it straight from his chest. The look in her eyes was seared into his memory, devoid of any emotion but distate blazing in them. He couldn't relive that, wouldn't relive that. Especially with you.

He may have loved Nancy but with you it was different. With you, he knew you were going to be the one. The one person handcrafted specifically for him. A soul designed to match his own in a large and lonely world. Somehow he had found you and now he wouldn't do anything to risk it, he would guarantee it. It had hurt when Nancy said she didn't love him but if you did. Well that would kill him.

"What kind of candy do the kids like?" you ask in the dark bedroom, voice overlapping that of Billy Joel's from the cassette player. You're My Home played softly throughout the room and you wished Steve knew that was how you felt about him. That until now you were pretty sure you had nowhere to belong and now you belonged to him.

"Why do you ask?” Steve hums, hands reaching to run through your hair. He lived for nights like this, where you just laid here with legs tangled together and talked about things practically meaningless.

"Well I want to make them happy, I know how much they love Halloween. Dustin hasn't shut up about it all week and I want something to cheer Mike up. I know how badly they wanted to dress up as The Goonies but with Will and El gone they can't" you tell Steve, hand lacing with his own under the covers. Steve smiles softly at you and how much you care for the very kids he had taken under his own wing.

"I don't know what kind of candy they like, I'm sure whatever is fine. As for Mike, tell him we can be Andy and Brand. Maybe I can convince Robin to be Data or something" Steve tells you, pressing a kiss to your forehead. The image of Robin in the Data costume meant for Will makes you giggle and Steve is pulling you closer, chest brushing against your own.

"You'd give up our Grease costume for that?" you ask, knowing how excited he was to be Danny Zuko and wear his leather jacket.

"Yeah but don't tell them that. They'll get big heads" Steve grumbles, practically hearing Dustin tease him about how much he loves all of them. You giggle against him and Steve warms over, feeling those very words sitting heavy on his chest. If only he had the words to tell you. He knew you were waiting, wondering why he hadn't said them. If you only had time to understand why he struggled with it so much. Everyone he ever loved left, if he said these words outloud he couldn't risk you leaving him too.

"You're the best Stevie" you tell him, leaning forward and pressing a soft kiss to his nose. Steve hums in delight, not allowing you to back away as he pulls you to his lips and kisses you quickly. He knows you love him, you only said things like that to replace those very words. If he would just say it your response would have been 'I love you Stevie'. Instead he gets broad statements that he has slowly come to despise.

"Yeah, yeah, best babysitter ever" he mumbles and you giggle because even though he pretends to hate it you know how much he loves it. How much he loves those kids. If he didn't he wouldn't spend time with them. One of those very kids was his ex girlfriend’s brother and he never let any of those things stop him. He was always there for them.

"Only the best can handle six kids at a time" you tell him and Steve searches your eyes, loving how when you look at them they’re filled with adoration instead of hate. He knows not saying anything won't change your feelings and you will carry on loving him without it. He just couldn't bring himself to say it, the urge never there even though he was practically dying inside to tell you. He wished you knew how hard it is to say.

Sometimes when he finds himself even close he feels silly. I love you seemed too simple to portray the love he had for you. It was so basic, a word your heard on the radio over and over again. Every song as simple as the last. How unoriginal were his words when the radio repeats them every single day? Even with his love for Billy Joel he figures he'll never find a song to sing you. One that perfectly depicted exactly how he felt about you. He doesn't want to sing those tired words again, words he wasted on people who never loved him back.

“You ever think about having kids?” Steve asks, leaning back into the pillow and staring at his ceiling. You admire the soft tufts of his hair on his chest, the way his bicep flexes as he reaches to tuck his hand under his head. He’s so handsome and it should scare you that your boyfriend of only six months has suddenly asked you about having kids and yet you don’t seem to mind.

“All the time” you tell him earnestly, snuggling into his side and grazing your fingers along his sternum, grinning when he shivers from your touch.

“I want to have a whole bunch, make me feel better about being an only child” Steve says, his hand pressed to your back slowly sliding up and into your hair.

“What do you mean, make you feel better?” you ask, lifting your head to glance at the boys face as he continues to be deep in thought.

“I was a lonely kid, my parents never really cared to pay any attention and without any siblings or cousins I was left to my own devices. I think it’s half the reason I was such an asshole in high school” he says, almost wincing at the thought of how many people he had treated like shit over the years just to guarantee he wouldn’t be all alone.

“You were protecting yourself” you say, understanding exactly what he means and Steve nods, eyes glancing down at your form.

“I want my kids to have built in friends and even better, present parents” he tells you and suddenly you find yourself wanting nothing more than to have kids with the boy beside you.

“You’ll be the best Dad Steve, I just know it” you tell him and there are those words again, sitting on his tongue and begging to escape but he just can’t seem to let them go. He hates himself for it, looking away before you see the regret in his eyes.

“I hope so, I just wish my Grandpa was still around to see it” he says, thinking of the only person in his life who ever really liked him for him when he was growing up. The man who had heaven sent you straight to him when he needed you the most.

“He is, don’t you worry about that Stevie” you tell him, eyes fluttering close as you listen to cassette playing in the room. The boombox clicked, indicating the start of a new song. Worse Comes to Worst slowly filling the room.

“Oh worse comes to worst. I’ll get along” you start singing the melody into the dark night air, the fall breeze fluttering in from the window and brushing against the curtains.

“I don’t know how, but sometimes - I can be strong” Steve starts singing along with you and suddenly your both giggling into the night, sharing a love for one another and a love for Billy Joel. The very man that had brought you two together.

“Do you ever get sick of listening to him?” Steve asks and you know he’s asking you about Billy Joel. You shake your head softly against his chest, gazing into those hazel eyes.

“No, he reminds me of you. Makes me feel close to you no matter where I am. Yet I suppose that’s exactly how he makes you feel about your Grandpa” you say, voice humming along the boys ribs.

“Yeah but now he reminds me of you too” Steve admits and you smile before leaning up and capturing his lips in your own. When you had approached the sad boy in the record store you never would have imagined it would bring you here.

"I'm gonna try and sleep" you tell the boy, snuggling closer and allowing your heavy eyelids to close. Steve smiles softly and presses another kiss to your forehead. He knows life goes on and tonight will soon be gone. Another missed opportunity to tell you exactly how he feels. His wished he had the words to tell you but instead he only has his arms to hold you, pulling you closer into him. It's really all you can ask of any man, to be held with such love even if he won't say it.

"Goodnight Rosy" he mutters, 'I love you' he says in his head. He knows disappointment swells in your chest, having been by his side for six months and waiting to know exactly how he felt about you. The only noise in the dark room now is the voice of Billy Joel and your soft breathing. He pulls you close, relishing in the feeling of having you in his arms. When he’s sure you’re asleep he tells you.

"I love you Rosy, I really do. Just please don't give up on me, I promise I want to say it. You deserve to know just how much I adore you but every person I've ever loved has left me. I know you won't but I need time for my head to catch up with my heart. Until then, if I only had the words to tell you..."

While watching music videos of my favorite bands I came up with the idea of ​​doing this based on the personality of each of my boys and this is what came out.

i've mentioned this a couple times, but gia is a not-so-secret metalhead! they do however listen to a very broad, broad range of genres and is always down for listening to something new and any language. one of their favorite (and honestly prized) items is the magic gramophone they find in ramshackle dorm, as they use it to play songs from their world-- given all it needs to play is a memory of a song.

yes, they will be playing tyler, the creator, kdot, cardi b and mf doom full blast in ramshackle. yes, they will be playing shakira, maná, and elefante immediately after, followed by deadman, malice mizer, buck-tick, michael jackson, arctic monkeys, the gorillaz, and fucking dethklok-- WHAT of it…?

anyway yea, safe to say gia loves music and they love to listen to it whenever they get the chance-- ESPECIALLY live.

sorrel is into alt. indie, post-punk (like obskuros or jfarrari), (twst-equivalent) spanish rock (think enanitos verdes and la union)..that general vibe. but he can get into mainstream pop just fine. honestly, i've imagined that sometime in his adult years he dabbles a little in music-- creating a concept album very reminiscent in style to djo's 'decide' album.

sorrel will listen to music when he's musing since it helps get him in the mood, but he doesn't always need to have something playing to function.

helena jupiter

(twst-equivalent) of a k-pop fan here (she'd be BTS army, deadass), but she's into general pop music. she is, however, a very big fan of PREMO, something she shares with her cousin idia-- although they're both unaware of each other as fans. i can also see her being into something fun along the lines of deadlift lolita as just like…a random tidbit. like she's not really a metalhead, but you can't tell me deadlift lolita isn't great workout music.

helena likes to listen to music on her downtime, though it's mostly seen when she's going on a jog or lifting weights.

bobbi st. robins

bobbi will listen to just about anything that's put on for him without a fuss, he likes music in an ultra casual manner. but he does pop his head up a lot when i listen to miles kane-- he specifically likes kane's albums 'change the show' and 'coup de grace.' y'know, he'd also be into kane's band with the arctic monkey's lead singer alex turner-- the last shadow puppets. he'd also be into harry styles…

gia's somewhere in the middle, leaning towards heavy. however their sleeping habits are ABYSMAL and it's something of a well-known fact. gia will pull all-nighters, sleeps maybe 4-5 hours on a typical night because they're too busy working on SOMETHING. it's always…something. then you got the Visions.

sorrel's a light sleeper and his sleep schedule is not the greatest either, but it's not on purpose and more that sorrel does deal with vivid nightmares. he should probably get that checked. but he does try to sleep a healthy amount if he can help it.

helena jupiter

she's pretty responsible with her sleep schedule, 8-9 hours and she sleeps solidly through the night. it's part of her training and making sure she's in tip-top shape. nothing remarkable here honestly. good job, helena.

bobbi st. robins

light sleeper, but he can fall asleep or fall back pretty easily and just about anywhere. he sleeps just fine, he's also a bit of a napper. he has no problem with his sleep.

DEEP sleeper. this guy can sleep through a stampede the whole night. no sleep issues here, it's more trying to wake him up in the middle of it. real grumpy if you DO manage to wake him up. but despite that, he wakes up just fine in the morning and is rather fresh-faced.

gia does swim and they LOVE getting in the water when given a chance-- they especially love the beach. they end up reverse-engineering (with some…adjustments) their own breathing potion just to be able to swim in the deep sea (they've had an interest in the ocean for a while now.)

not the greatest swimmer since he just started learning when he attended nrc. he doesn't really go out of his way to do so.

EXCELLENT swimmer. i wouldn't say she LOVES to swim, but she's damn good at it and if invited somewhere to swim, she'd definitely have a good time.

can swim and loves a good dive! actually i think he had a stint as a lifeguard at a public pool as a summer job in the savannah, but he loves a good river.

oh boy-- so when they first appeared in twisted wonderland, they had a metal slingshot on their person. they have a stellar shot and they've used this run-of-the-mill slingshot in books 1-3 (as well as boxcutter they carry around.) with their eventual research of their flora magestone, though, they find it the easiest to model the foundation on their slingshot.

they can use a knife. they'll use…just about anything as a weapon if push comes to shove, really. this bitch will break a bottle and use it to cut a bitch.

knows cpr. also because they hate going to the nurse's office and would rather patch themself up, gia ends up quickly taking up to first aid. adding their grasp on potionology (they very quickly cement their place as one of the best potionology students in freshman year), gia carries around varying healing potions they made themself just for that purpose. how do they know they work? they've tested them on themself, duh.

this bitch is the kind of person who can reset somone's shoulder without batting an eye. can and will take care of someone who is sick pretty fucking well actually- like maybe their bedside manner is lacking, but gia does know what they're doing (or at least has a solid chance of figuring it out as they go along)

okay, confession. gia did secretly smoke back in their homeworld mostly just to be a Bad Kid™ and sometimes when things get really bad in nrc, they wish they could have a smoke. (i feel there's definitely a moment where it's so bad they actually get their hands on a pack, START to smoke, but every time they do it, it makes them feel even worse due to unpleasant memories. they can't stomach finishing it and throw it away.)

they've tried alcohol for the same reason, but they don't like the taste, so they don't-- not even as an adult. they'd much rather have a mocktail.

doesn't smoke because he doesn't like the smell.

he's been given a few sips of wine here and there as a kid during special celebrations. it's because of this openness that sorrel learns moderation very quickly and he does drink socially as an adult, but doesn't go overboard.

will drink on special occasions as an adult, but she's actually a bit of a lightweight so she tries to keep it at a minimum because she gets so goofy and giggly and all her hard-earned coordination goes flying out the window.

cigars are such a Man's Man thing where he's from and he'd see his dad smoke cigars, that he thought he definitely wanna try it out for himself at some point, but when the day came-- he made a face and went off to brush his teeth.

does drink, i can see him with an alcohol cabinet when he's older and is pretty well-versed in all the nuances and tastings of alcohol. he'd been into going to winery vineyards and all that. and then sometimes he just sits in his back porch sippin' moonshine with his cousins.
